Currently there is only one approved provider for EMT- Basic training in the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley area. Those looking for other options outside of the area can drive to San Bernardino and Riverside for more schools. EMT-B accredited workers who want to get an EMT-P (EMT-Paramedic or Paramedic) license will have to drive out of the area as well.
